I got my card for the Six Degrees Cardathon! And it is awesome! I may have to use exclamation points throughout this entire journal to convey both the awesomeness and my excitement!
Here are a couple of photos...sorry about the gross bathroom tile (the light was better in there).

Oh, Fraser, how absolutely devastating. And it's just so him. "I'm so happy I get to sit out here in the cold thinking about how happy you guys are together without me." It's heartbreaking.
Not all hope is lost, however. The following was written on the back of the envelope:
Thank you so much, Cardathon person! I love it!

Dear Ray & Ray,
I am honoured that you would trust me with news of the welcome change in your relationship, and I wish you both every happiness.
Since we spoke, I...well...find myself thinking of the two of you, and of the time we spent together.
I think often of that moment in the hotel, when I had you both with me, and I can still feel your shoulders under my hands, like a ghost presence in the cold nights. I am haunted by the fantasy that I drew you both into my embrace, and that we are even now entangled. Perhaps unforgivably, I keep myself warm at night imagining the two of you. I think to myself--while I lie in the freezing dark--that you are somewhere out there, embracing. For some reason, that comforts me.
I know this sounds terribly self-pitying, and perhaps I will burn this letter before I lose all control and post it. I would not wish to cause concern for either of you. I never thought to find two such friends in this lifetime, and I am more glad than I can say that you were able to find happiness together. It seems an unlikely gift, and one that I am glad that you shared with me in this small way.
Ever your devoted friend,
Benton Fraser
