If he has what you want, but he looks like Elmer Fudd, don’t pass him by. When Sylvia, a former New York newscaster, met Bob, she said he reminded her of a chubby cartoon character. In a few weeks he captured her heart and became her hero. I’ve seen it happen many times. As you begin to care about someone, his appearance becomes less important.

It is important to remember that men are very visual. Try to look as GOOD as possible as OFTEN as possible.
The accompanying clip from the Today show is pretty great too. All about letting him see what you’ve got, but not giving it to him and doing what you have to keep the power in the relationship. Another highlight for me personally was when Livermore, stressing the charitable nature of her matchmaking, said that men were encouraged to give money and women were encouraged to do volunteer work. WTF.
So men's worth comes from their intelligence and personalities and the wealth that they thereby create, and women's worth comes only from their bodies.
Jesus Christ. It should be satire...but it’s not.

It's kind of the reason I wrote this rant down--to reassure myself that I'm not the problem in all this. I'm not being some kind of irrational feminazi. I'm the sane one...more or less. *g*
Also, you know what you should do? Get online. :P
