A Hard Core Logo fanvid! It's mostly just an excuse to spend a lot of time watching the slashiest bits.

My mom watched. Her comment? "I'll never be able to hear this song again without thinking of people staring moodily into space."

Geez, Mom, you just don't understand their pain.

ETA Download here, if you'd like your own copy. Plus, the quality is less crapalicious than youtube.

Look what you made! Is it a pet project of yours to master the skills of each of the nine Muses? Is this your first vid? It is put together very elegantly.

I think you definitely chose the yummiest, slashiest bits -- SOULFUL JOE, HOT BILLY. :D

(But that November weather looks *so cold*! It is -23 C here today.)

Thank you! And, yep, first vid. My parents bought a shiny, shiny new Mac, and I couldn't not play with such a pretty toy. *g* I'd always kind of wanted to try vidding (all the emo songs! all the shots of pretty boys staring moodily into space!) but it would probably kill my computer.

Are you sure? Maybe I should check again, you know, just in case. XD

Yikes. You are far more rugged than I, m'dear. I start bitching about the cold as soon as the weather dips below freezing. But it does make a breath-taking backdrop--and, here, think about Joe and Billy huddling for warmth in the back of the van. That totally makes it worth it, right?

Wow, first time!?! It was so smoothly edited and had a graceful, lyrical pace. And now I can't get that song out of my head. :-)

think about Joe and Billy huddling for warmth in the back of the van.

Mmm, that is *much* better indeed!

This is incredible. Seriously, just -- completely amazing. I can't believe this is your first vid. You keep surprising me with these hidden talents that not only have I never seen, but that you've never even talked about! Like, totally out of the blue: bam, you're an artist! Bam, you're a vidder! I'm getting dizzy here. But this is really beautiful: great song choice, great clip choices, perfect cuts. Also, I am stunned anew every single time I see HCL or clips from it at how strikingly gorgeous Callum is in it. Not that he isn't always lovely, but HCL does a superb job at displaying his loveliness. :)

Geez, Mom, you just don't understand their pain.

Maybe she doesn't! Has she seen the movie?

I'm just a dilettante, is all. :P I more or less gave up the whole art thing awhile ago. I just have relapses every now and again.

OM MY GOD. I know. He's just...breath-taking. *g* The whole rock star thing really suits him.

Has she seen the movie?

No, I tried to get her to, but she as zero interest. I explained it to her as best I could, but her reaction to Joe's death was: "I don't see, why he didn't get clean, get a job and some counseling and move on with his life." She may have a point, but wouldn't make for a very punk rock ending.

Yeah, I gave up on fandom a while ago. PPPBBBTTT

LOL, oh my god, I love it. Joe Dick goes to Narcotics Anonymous, finds God, gets clean, goes to work at a homeless shelter or something, and becomes an upstanding member of society. There is a terrible AU fic in there somewhere.
