...And direct everyone to read this post by Joss Whedon (not Buffy or Firefly related).  It's thought provoking, if soul-killingly depressing.

As I read it I was really struck by the fact that it was a guy who understood. Maybe it's just the set of guys I've been around--twenty-somethings with the entitled frat boy mentality.

Heh. Yeah, my hat is pretty well-worn. Unfortunately, I have to be sneaky or people's eyes glaze over before I get through explaining the construct of gender. So instead of the hat, sometimes I wear my angry feminist underpants. They're an outrage/cotton blend and they don't ride up!
