This was really amazing. I loved how Merlin and Arthur are always pulled towards each other, can't even help but to banter, even when they're on opposite sides of the war. Even when they practically *started* the war. And poor Morgana. I feel for her, I really do. She was almost driven to her behavior. And Mordred's a creepy little fuck, as one would expect.

The corner of Arthur's mouth twitched upwards and then his expression turned wistful, almost tender. “Merlin,” he said. “The war won't last forever.”
